Mianserin and Complete Heart BlockNational Poisons Unit, Guy's Hospital, London, SE1 9RT
Department of Medicine, George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, UK Cardiac complications are common in tricyclic antidepressant poisoning, but are rare with overdose of mianserin, which is a tetracyclic antidepressant. We report a case in which repeated episodes of complete heart block occurred following overdose with mianserin.
