1 Florid scalp hair regrowth following the depilatory effects of both whole cranial radiotherapy and cytotoxic chemotherapy is described in a patient who simultaneously exhibited acquired hypertrichosis lanuginosa in the head and neck region.

2 The regrowth of more youthful and more senile scalp hair following cranial radiotherapy are exemplified in two further case reports.
