The Danish Poison Information Centre, situated at the Occupational Health Clinic in Copenhagen, did not have an official 24 h service before September 1, 1980. When the 24 h service was established, we reviewed those enquiries made to the Centre until that time. As a rule, only questions concerning chemical and technical products are answered by the Centre whereas enquiries concerning medicine are answered by the Poison Treatment Centre at Bispebjerg Hospital.
